Well, looks like we are here for another year. We are signing a lease on a house this week for a year so it looks like our journey will continue a little longer. Hannah found a house for rent while in service the other week and thought of us. Why? Because it has a little room off the front that at one time was a SALON. Woo Hoo. She took us by the other day to take a look and help translate of course. We meet with the owner who used to live in the house and ran her salon out of it as well. Thank goodness for Hannah. We can get by with our spanish but when it comes to contracts and money it's good to know exactly what they are saying. Anyway we agreed on a price but had to sign for a year so it looks like we are moving sooner then expected. Our agreement is up on our apartment at the end of the month and we take possession of the new place the first of April.
Now with all the changes, we are going to have to alter our plans of coming home. It looks like we will be coming back around April 20 - June 20. Not sure when we will be where, but we will be in Canada. It just seams to work out easier with moving and having to work around the heat restriction with Pica and the flight. Now that i know when i'm coming home, i'm getting excited to see all my family and friends. All i know is it better stop snowing by then.
Things are finally falling back into routine this month. For the first time in a long time there is nothing going on in march. We can get back on track with daily life and take a breather before the crazy month of April comes upon us. With moving, pioneering, the memorial and coming back to Canada it's going to be a busy month. Ever since we have stared coming the the D.R. we have wanted to be here for the memorial so we definitely don't want to miss it this time.
We herd some exciting news the other day, Diego, a brother from the Creole hall was appointed as a ministerial servant and starting (i think) this month there is going to be a new french group here in Las Terrenas. Things are on the move. It's amazing to watch the growth of this little town.
So That's about all for now but as soon as i can i'll post some pics of the new place so you all can see what our Dominican living will be like.
