Perogy Fest

4 more people have now been introduced to a wonderful thing called perogies. Sunday afternoon was perogy fest at our house and i think it's safe to say things went pretty good. Not to sure how grandma manages to make 300 at a time seeing as i had a hard enough time making just 45. Might have something to do with the hot, humid weather and a lack of a real freezer. Anyway it's done now and i think grandma would be proud.

The brothers have been very busy with the planning of the hall build. There is alot of things to arrange and not a lot of time to do it. It doesn't help that things here take twice as long to get done. The thing that surprised me the most is the fact that they actually have a brother that is in charge of hair. Yes that's right, I said hair. Apparently the sisters at the build are allotted hair dos every so many weeks. Needless to say the brother in charge was pretty excited to hear that i was volunteering my services. I thought it was funny when to CO's wife suggested that i could do hair for the build but now i understand.

I start spanish lessons tomorrow with Sara ( a sister from Spain) so hopefully she can help me a little more. This whole learning a new language thing is had. I'm starting to understand more and more but i little help will be nice. I hear she's a good teacher so i hope things go well.

I hear that the white stuff is starting to fly back home so just another friendly reminder that we have a spare room here waiting to be used.
