The Finished Product and Cayo Levantado

It's been a crazy week around here. The hall is DONE. Plus levi finally has his dream job, Painting surfboards. He's pretty stoked about it. He is just finishing up his first board today and he has two more here at the house and two more waiting to come. Plus a wall to paint at a restaurant with one of the brothers in the hall.

I've also been busy lately doing hair. Now that the construction is done everyone is wanting to get all prettied up for the dedication. I'm hoping maybe in the fall i'll be able to get a proper sink and chair to make my life just a little easier. So it looks like we might do alright here after all.

Seeing as everyone is worn out from the construction we decided it was time for a little R & R, so we packed up our things and headed to Cayo Levantado for the day. There was about 25 of us in all. Levi had to stay home and "work". It turned out to be a great day to go because there were no cruise ships in port yesterday which means the beach was almost empty. I'm not to sure how much resting i did though because it was an awesome day for snorkeling. So many fish and star fish. I didn't even mind all the tiny jellyfish stings. It was overcast most of the day but i thought it was great because it wasn't to hot but others were curled up in their hoodies. Even so i managed to get a little pink. Still, it was a very fun day.

The take down of the Kitchen

Spreading the gravel for the parking lot.
It's kinda of crazy that we now have a nicer hall here then at home. Plus one of the nicest buildings in all of Las Terrenas.
From a tiny little school house to this.
It wont be so scary now if you have to use the washroom during the meeting.
Loading up the truck with all the crews furniture.
Hehe. The girls forgot we now have a working bathroom inside.
One of the last days of work. We had nothing to do so we went to the beach.
A little planting to do and that's all.
Levi painted one of the sisters bikes.
This was the start of the trip to Cayo. Yes, there are 18 people in that van.
And the rest were in the truck.
Our boat to the Island
And the other boat.

Just a "friendly" game of dominoes
It really is a beautiful beach when it's not full a orange wrist bands.
Some friendly little sea creatures
Lots of cool stuff to see
So many star fish

Look a sara fish.

Box Fish
Trumpet Fish
Priscilla, The best sand dollar finding partner ever.
The catch of the day.
Sara and Amii, so pretty.
Cayo Levantado
So that's what i did this week. How about you?

Now today is laundry catch up day. Levi took over the deck with surfboards but today i had to kick him out cause we are out of clothing and i need to start getting ready for Dad and Tracy. It's going to be a busy day on sunday. We have the hall dedication in the morning then we are off the El Catey to pick up dad and Tracy from the airport.
